OC Speaks, our local poetry club, is ready to sponsor the first Open Mic of the year. Come to the library at lunch this Thursday to experience some amazing spoken word and community. Audience members are encouraged to bring a friend and lunch and be prepared for some inspiring words! Poets can sign up at the start of the event. See Ms. Moskowitz if you have any questions.

Student Success Night, October 6

Please come to our Student Success Night on Thursday, October 6, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Meet teachers and learn about our exciting programs. Pick up your student's progress report and talk with their teachers. This is the John O'Connell Back to School Night.

Edupath and the San Francisco Public Library are partnering to bring you free SAT & ACT prep classes, taught by veteran instructors and tailored to your individual goals. Classes will combine live instruction with Edupath's College Path SAT/ACT, free mobile apps that help students find colleges, get SAT & ACT prep, and manage their college applications right from their iPhone or iPad. Workshops are free and priority registration to high school juniors. This is a great opportunity! Click here for more information.
