School Tours: Thursdays/Fridays

Prospective families can tour our school 9:15-10:15 a.m. Thursdays and Fridays, except the second Thursday of the month. Contact Rebeca Flores, family liaison, at FloresR@sfusd.edu or 415-695-5370 ext. 1004.

  • No appointment is needed.
  • Meet inside the Folsom Street entrance.
  • Tours are about 1 hour.
  • Starting in December, visitors can choose to shadow an O'Connell student for a more in-depth look at our school. Parents must call Rebeca Flores to schedule appointments for Student Shadowing.

A Community School

John O'Connell High School is a Community School.


Finals Cram Jam

Come to the Cram Jam and get tutoring, food, 1-on-1 teacher help, and extra credit.

  • December 9, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Computer Lab 215 and the Cafeteria
  • Winter Dance to follow at 8:00 pm in the Auditorium

Ask your teachers if they're coming and what extra credit is being offered.
