Lab Goals and Description

Cook and sell restaurant-quality food, plan your future, network with leaders and professionals, create business plans and pitch them to investors, learn about ethnic groups through their foods and about marketing through the making of a Thanksgiving Feast. In this lab, students learn History, Economics and Political Science through the real world lenses of food studies, business formation and the restaurant industry.  Students learn the tools to take charge of their own educational, professional and personal lives by understanding how the world really works and how to succeed within it.
